    As of now, somehow the node(the old machine with P3 processor)
    is able to boot 'freebsd.newnode'(freebsd47.newnode) from
    Boss.(The new machine I have here with Core 2 processor could
    not boot it).


I think you want to back up and switch over to the 6.X versions of the
MFSs if you want to boot current hardware.


At this point, as the document said, the node info such as MAC


Was there nothing else on the console? It did not spit out a bunch
of stuff indicating what it was doing?
