IIene,

Thank YOU Thank YOU so very much for jumping in with these words of wisdom!

A note about Blue [Xena? Bonnie?] and Miss no name Yellow, yes Yellow has
no name still... Yesterday they ran a muck in the house while the big dogs
were out trying to kill the neighbors chickens, more on that down the
page. Then we took them for a car ride around town, made a few stops let
them sit in the crate while George went in the store, I stayed behind to
keep the AC running so they would not get to warm. Got them out and walked
them around in the back 40 of the parking lot to see the big city sights
and sounds... Took them over to visit with our 86 year old friend Diane who
only has a cat, was a two fold visit, fun for everyone and training for the
pup's, a diffrent yard with different smells and things to climb on and
eat.... So if you have not today would be a good day to take your puppy on
an outing!!! Just keep it simple but do something different today.

Onto the chicken story:

Being a bit rural has it's disadvantages sometimes..... We have some
neighbors that well are less than responsible with their animals. Chickens
running a muck able to fly and get into our yard. This does not work well
for us needless to say. Yesterday ALL the dogs were out, there was 17 dogs
running a muck and one stupid chicken... Chicken was rescued by George but
shall we say he/she will not be flying over the fence again anytime
soon. His butt is bald, no feathers left at all, but hey I hear him
crowing right now so I guess his pride might be a bit bruised but his yap
is still able to crow... The major players in the get the chicken game
were: Scarlette, SeaJay, Gidget, AmEx and Lucy who all had feathers
between their teeth....

It's never dull,

Gina
