Just want to mention that I agree
wholeheartedly with the chemicals in the grass causing health problems in our
dogs and I have living proof in our little Roscoe. I used to live at one
of the local golf country clubs when I first moved here. Whenever they
would spray or use fertilizer on the lawns or fairways, Roscoe would get
violently ill - throwing up constantly for days. Our vet and I couldn't
figure it out until one day when I was outside I noticed them putting the
chemicals on and the light-bulb when on! Unfortunately, somehow around
here they don't have to use the little flags warning people about the use of
pesticides like they do when I lived in Wisconsin. I had no idea
what I was subjecting him to because I didn't always know when they'd
fertilize. Now whenever we go to the parks or where-ever it's unknown, I'm
extremely vigilant.
