Hi All, I have been very busy, but got this site from a friend, below is some correspondance that I have had with the owner of the site, I shared an experience with them and it seems that our Sasha is going to be on their Hero page. We ran outside and our son was hanging by his neck from a bungie cord. He was half on the slide and half off the slide, but could not get back up. His face was purple his eyes were popping out of his scull so far it still makes me shudder when I think about it. Well Sasha was on the slide with her nails dug into the plastic pushing him with all her might back up into the play structure. She was just getting the bungie to loosen when we came out. If it would not have been for her, I think that he would have died. We thank God that she was there to help loosen the bungie and our friends son had the common sense to come tell us what was going on. It was that day on that she completely came out of her shell. She is the most loving and smart dog we have ever had. We really do think she was sent to us for a reason and thank her everyday for being our hero. It has been almost 3 years since the incident and still remember it like it was yesterday, we show people the gouges in the slide when ever we retell the story, our son is just fine, he had terriable ligature marks and broken blood vessels in his eyes and around them, but he learned a valuable lesson about playing with things that may be dangerous. And we learned that even simple things can be very dangerous. What a wonderful story. Yes, you came to the right place and for more reasons than I can even tell you right now. I will surely place this story up at my heroes page. Could you provide a little more info like: your city & state; the date this actually occurred; your son's name; his friend's name; etc. If you could get me photos of Sasha and the actual slide, that would be great as well. Let me know if you email these or whether you need to snail mail them, so that I can provide you with an address.
I agree that Sasha was sent to you for a reason and do believe that these Goldens are merely angels in disguise.

Oh, I am so jealous. 17 years is a great life for one of these Golden angels. The picture is fine. I can photoedit it so that it looks just fine. I can't wait to put up your story and to let folks know about it. I have a mailing list of well over a 1,000 Golden lovers! Don't worry about that other picture. I will put up the story without it but think it is a great visual reminder of what took place.
Here is some information that you can share with others about my site: I have been working on this site for close to three years now and with 800+ pages and still counting, it never seems to end.
