Re: swimming
Hi all
I think what Gina and Yanna said about other dogs is a big help for
swimming. Katie was like the others - wanted nothing to do with water. Her
daycare "mom" filled one of those small pools and she said Katie would just
dip her foot in and out. She started throwing balls in which got other dogs
jumping in and playing and Katie joined in. We went camping at a lake last
weekend and she followed our other dog right in. She was still not ready
for her feet to leave the ground, but she had a blast. She was running and
jumping around, and even sticking her head under the water. So, if you
single dog owners can borrow a dog that swims, that seems to help a lot!
