Re: Sleeping

Hi Karin,
We have Daisy from the One litter. She just turned 1 on January 1 and she still sleeps in her crate and loves it. I was thinking of letting her start to sleep out of it, if she wanted, but I bet she would get right back in her cozy crate!
Keep us posted on what you all decide.
Patty.

I would be interested in any advice on sleeping arrangements for the Casino litter gang or others.  Milka still sleeps in a closed crate at night and I am trying to figure out when it will be good to start leaving the door open.  We tried to put her in the kitchen for the night a few weeks ago (she has a big LL bean bed (yes, she is spoiled) and spends a lot of time there as we tend to spend most of our time there) but she cried and so we put her back in her crate and she was quiet.  I want her to have more room and space but am also worried about what she might do during the night.  We've puppy proofed the house as best we can but still never sure.  I never crated my dogs in the past and so am new to this and want to make sure she feels safe and sound.  BTW, she LOVES being on the bed with us (which she gets to do in the late evening and sometimes in the mornings on weekends) but that is not a fulltime option for her (at least as long as Carl has a vote in this house :)  Thanks!  Karin
