Dog/Cat interaction

Steve:

We also have a cat, he was very ticked off at us when we walked in the door with Hunter.  It is a relationship of you stay on your side I will stay on mine.  Hunter tries really hard to be his friend, but as with most cats, ours won't lower himself to associate with a dog.  It will take one conflict for your pup to figure out what is coming out the end of those feet is not a good thing.  Hunter has come to the kitchen with a bloody nose and you know he got a little to close to the cat.  Then there are other days when they are great friends and sleep on the dog bed together.  They will figure it out.  It is kind of funny to watch them when a 60 lb dog is afraid of a 6 lb cat!!!  Have fun and remember to share their first experience with us!!
