Resuce Up-Date 2-2-01

Hi All,

Just a quick note to toot a horn or two and up date everyone:

Our Kim, (Riley's mom) is a flight attendant for Alaska Air.  I wrote Kim 
and asked her if she thought she might be able to pull some strings with in 
and get us some comp flights for dogs.  Thanks You  Kim, well done!!!

Today this has all come together and I have had contact with Paula from 
Alaska Air and she is comping the rescue 5 to 6 flights!!!  This means that 
5 to 6 dogs can travel FREE to new loving homes and our little network has 
helped accomplish this.

Also just in Debbie Rogers (Abigail's mom)  The company she works for has 
an office in AZ and workers there fly back and forth often and one of Deb's 
co workers has offered to act as an escort for dogs too.

I will be contacting the media too and arranging for coverage to give out 
the proper kudo's to Alaska Air and to spread the word on how easy it 
really is to help those in need.

I believe that there are 4 to 6 dogs going to be affected positively with 
this little mission.  Including that our Judy has offered to take a senior 
as a permanent resident at Timberline, since I have her Punch and won't 
give her back!  <grin>

Pup's are well and moving to the play room today!
