[Testbed-admins] Emulab software upgrade plan inquery

Greetings,

This is Jin-Shan from testbed@TWISC, Taiwan.

I have check out the Emulab Software, https://users.emulab.net/trac/emulab/wiki/software, and they are running on FreeBSD 6.x series and php4.

Due to FreeBSD 6.x and php4 are already EoL, http://www.freebsd.org/security/

Is there any plan to upgrade the whole system support latest FreeBSD 8.x or linux?

I would like to port the Emulab to FreeBSD 8.x or linux. Did you know anyone do that before or running on these system successful?

Any suggestion or help is welcome.
