Hmm, okay.  We're not really in a position where we can easily go
the FreeBSD 7.0 route, so i guess i have to see if i can get either
the Broadcom or Intel driver to behave under 6.3.

Alternately, if we wanted to throw money at the problem: does anyone
have a model of a PCIe or PCI-X 1Gb ethernet card which is known
to work with the stock drivers?  Bonus points if it's a quad-port
card.
