The node never boots even if I issue 'wap newnode_reboot 10.x.x.x'.

So go ahead and hit Create. If after a few minutes you are still
logged into the node (has not rebooted), do this from boss:

boss> wap newnode_reboot 10.x.x.x

and send the entire output to us.
