I have a question about optional-Boost: Is it going to break the build on windows?

I just realized that I don't get notifications when the pull request is revised.  (At least, I don't think I do.)  Meaning: I thought that the ball was still in Jacek's court to address comments.  But now I see that he did that.

So I need to look at the optional-Boost thing again.
