Rice-Eccles Stadium Tower
(demo session and reception)
The sessions on Monday afternoon run from 1:00 to 5:00 in the Fort Douglas section of the University of Utah campus. Registration and cluster breakout sessions are in the Officers' Club building, and other sessions are in nearby buildings. Lunch is available at several locations on the way up to campus, and at a cafeteria in the Heritage Commons, a short walk from the Officers' Club. See the map for more details.
The evening reception and demo session will run from 5:30 to 8:30 at the Rice-Eccles Stadium tower, across campus from the Officers' Club. Entrances to the tower are on the west (downhill) side of the stadium. The reception will be held on the fourth floor.
Getting to the afternoon sessions from the conference hotels
Due to the widely varying arrival schedules of participants, the GEC will not provide shuttle transportation from Little America to the University; use TRAX (light rail) instead.

There is a $2.00 fare, and the total travel time is approx. 20 minutes.- Board a University train at the Courthouse station, which is one block north (towards downtown) of the hotel (see schedule below, or the full schedule)
- Get off at the Fort Douglas station (sixth stop)
- Cross the pedestrian bridge over Mario Capecchi Drive, and continue until you reach the Officers' Club, which will be on your right (less than 5 minutes)

Getting to the evening reception from the afternoon sessions
GEC-Provided Shuttle
A chartered shuttle will pick up in front of the University Guest House starting at 5:15. There will be at least two trips down to the stadium. To reach the Guest House from the Officers' Club, exit on the east (uphill) side of the building, turn left, and walk along Fort Douglas Boulevard (less than 100 yards).

There is a $2.00 fare, and the total travel time is approx. 10 minutes.- Leave the officers' club heading west (towards the valley), and cross the pedestrian footbridge to the TRAX station.
- Board any train heading away from the bridge you just crossed. A train will come about every 10 minutes.
- Ride two stops to the "Stadium" station
- The stadium tower is across the large parking lot to the east (uphill)

Getting back to the hotel after the reception
GEC-Provided Shuttle
A chartered shuttle will run from outside the stadium tower to the Little America hotel, with periodic pickups until 9:00 PM.

There is a $2.00 fare. The Murray-University line (the one that goes directly to the Courthouse station) stops by 7:30 PM, so you will need to transfer or walk a few blocks.- Cross the large parking lot to the west (downhill) of the tower to reach the Stadium TRAX stop. Board a Salt Lake City train. You will need to board on the platform that farther from the stadium; to reach this platform, use one of the entraces and the ends of the platform.
- Get off at the Gallivan station (several stops). If you still need dinner, drinks, etc. there are several choices near this station.
- Walk three blocks south to the conference hotels

board a Sandy train and go one stop to the Courthouse station.
