Hi Guys,

Just wanted to drop a note to the list to tell everyone that DiTTo cleared 
OFA @ 24 months with a rating of good hips and clear elbows, just got her 
report via phone today.  Not sure if I noted to the general list or not but 
we are now also doing PennHIP on the dogs too for extra info and given that 
DiTTo has some sibling with not so hot hips we thought it really best to 
start looking extra...  DiTTo pulled in the 70th percentile with .42 and 
.46 DI numbers for PennHIP which are great numbers...  And she is in the 
upper crust so to speak being in the 70 percentile...

We plan to ask those in the future to consider doing PennHIP over doing OFA 
readings as we think this method gives more information and can also be 
done at a younger age reliably.

And no if you have had your dogs hips done already you do not need to go 
re-do anything... :-)  But it's good information and I think worth passing 
this on...  The vets that do PennHIP are limited in the area as there is a 
school they have to go to for certification and there is extra equipment 
they need to have but our Dr. Doug is a PennHIP certified vet...

Ok it's one of those days so far and I need to try to pull it out...
