raw diet info

Hi All,

Part of this post was posted to a list I belong to and thought I would share it here.  Even if your not into feeding a raw diet the information on the pages listed below is good information.

Enjoy,

Gina

About a dog being a carnivore and what is an appropriate diet for a carnivore:

* note I (Gina) disagree that dogs are strictly carnivore in that they only eat meat.  But do agree that 70% to 80% of a dogs diet should consist of bone and meat.  With the other 20% to 30% of the diet being veggies, dairy, eggs, beans, but no grain that is not predigested.
