Subject: ITEM: Greenwood/Pets & People/stolen Siberian Husky 

Reports out of Hattiesburg, MS, today are that Beverly Greenwood and a
companion stand accused of stealing and selling a Siberian Husky named
Ozzie. According to a report this evening on Station WDAM in Hattiesburg,
MS, Greenwood and another woman were working with a local woman and her
dogs in Hattiesburg, MS., using their Pets & People rescue group name
(based in Meridian, MS/Citronelle, Alabama). They saw the Siberian husky
next door and commented that the dog would bring good money to the rescue
organization. Later on Greenwood and her partner were seen putting the
dog into their car and leaving. Within several days Ozzie's owners 
tracked him down to Petsmart, where Greenwood is well known for selling
dogs in their parking lot. Ozzie's owners contacted Petsmart where 
Greenwood had taken the dog to be sold. Petsmart was able to locate the
people who had purchased the dog and Ozzie has been reunited with his
rightful owners.
