Rescue

In addition to my post last night on giving at X-mas to Rescues

So far this winter has proven to be slow on the rescue front here at Brier 
and Timberline too!  This is nice.  We have helped re-home three dogs in 
the past couple of months but none of them required foster care thank 
goodness.  Judy does still have "Shadow" the German Shepherd and will 
probably end up just keeping her.  Again Shadow is a white pure bred GSD, 
unknown age but we think is about 10.  Very sweet, does like to bark but 
not excessively only to get attention.  Good in the house, and with other 
dogs and cats.  VERY SWEET did I say that?

  Funny thing is I really think the slowness of rescue has to do with the 
weather in Oregon, it's been really cold but very little rain.  It seams 
that people tend to feel the need to place dogs the most in the wet 
season.. :-(

a tax deductible donation of cash or goods to rescue.  JRG is not tax 
exempt yet or listed as an organization.  We are just too small yet with 
not enough resources to make the impact.  actually we prefer to be small 
and go unnoticed...   Judy is working on the 501 in her "spare 
time".  Right now we have no dogs in need and a bit of cash stashed so 
please if you do wish to give to rescue this year pick one of these fine 
organizations.
