Re: How do your dogs sleep?
Maple sleeps on her stomach or her side next to a wall or a desk
with her head sticking out around the corner so she can see
everything. This corner thing is a must, she never goes to the middle
of a wall, always where there is an edge for her to peak around. Its
really a very cute habit. In her crate, she sleeps curled up or on
her side. I never see her sleep on her back.
Torrey sleeps on his side in the middle of the room, or at Leigh's
feet under the desk, or curled up on the couch. He also never sleeps
on his back. However, he loves to make deep groaning noises when he
settles into a position.
Neither of them carry their bowls either. When I was a kid, we
did have a dachshund who put her stubby leg into her food bowl when
it was empty and then fire it back, shooting her food bowl across the
entire kitchen. She repeated this until we fed her.
