Works for both humans and dogs :-) It's the one small bottle I take
on trips with us that's all purpose. Good for soothing headaches too.

Lavender is used on *any* skin problem....cuts, scrapes, burns, sunburns,
abrasions, etc. We just finished using it on the pre-cancerous skin lesions
that the dermatologist iced off Perry's forehead. You could see the change
overnight on the evenings Perry used it. The scabs and rawness healed
amazingly fast on those nights. Just kind of hung out on the nights he
didn't use it.

Also, our doggie mentor, Rebecca, keeps 'superglue' in her doggie
emergency box and healed Iris right up when she deeply cut her
pad on a Haines beach right after we got off the ferry and were
driving to our first dog show in 1997. Of course, you have to be
extremely dexterous and quick because this stuff dries hard
immediately. Can't make mistake with it :-) Rebecca can
do that because of her nurse anethesia background, but Perry
and I were always a little intimidated <g>

We have one, but it's a hodge podge of what we could find
available in Juneau. I'm not sure how we would do in a
*real* emergency!
