Re: Questions to all of you...
Hi Gina and All,
I'll tell you what Ruby Rose eats. Nutro's Natural Lamb and Rice for Adult
Dogs (that was the only one of the three choices given I could find locally),
all sorts of raw veggies for snacks and also mixed with kibble (carrots,
jams, cabbage, squash, broccoli, cauliflower, parsley, and much, much more),
yogurt or cottage cheese, pet tab, Missing Link daily. Sometimes gets raw
mince (beef, turkey). I have been rather faithful to my word of "no people
food." I know, you can say the above IS people food, but you know what I
mean. The "rather" applies to today. Just gave her a part of my grilled
ham, cheese and tomato sandwich at noontime...recovering from her hystro
surgery, thought she needed an extra special treat.
She gets raw beef marrow bones quite often, usually when I want her to leave
me alone in an evening. RR was weighed yesterday at the vets and she is 41
lbs. I do wonder sometimes if I need to increase the amount I am feeding or
not. But, then again, she looks good. Not too lean and not too fat.
Ruby Rose is doing very well today, the day after her hystro. Still a bit
goofy, however, is eating and drinking water. The incision looks good - if
you know what I mean. That's it for now. Love to hear all about these pups.
Can't get enough info. Carolyn
