Haus 9-18-00

Hi All,

Haus had a great weekend.  He is even more animated and regaining more use 
and control of his limbs.  Last week when ever he would fall down he would 
have to roll to his good side down to get up.  This weekend he no longer 
has to roll he can push himself up with ease from a normal down.  He's 
running in a bunny hop but not dragging the left rear as much or toeing 
under as often.  He is weight baring on his left front better and is 
interested in play and interaction with the other dogs.  He spent a good 
part of his day out side yesterday following the other dogs around in the 
yard, crossing the gravel drive, up the ramp, into the house across the 
wood floors with out falling down once!  He can go down stairs in a comical 
clumsy manner but up is still not there.   He has put both front paws on a 
step just cant figure out how to get the coordination to go up yet.  He is 
able to get on the couch and can support his weight on his rear to put his 
front part of his body on the bed to get pets in the middle of the 
night.  He is sleeping on my side of the bed loose no crate with the 
laundry hamper blocking him in to a area about 6 ft by 4.  Last night about 
three times he woke me up with cold nose nudges just to get a pet.  He 
would then lay down groan and go back to sleep.
