Haus new theory

Hi All,

A phone consult between our vet and the Neurologist is that we are possibly 
dealing with an embolism <sp>  We have an appointment with the nuro guy on 
Wed @ 9:00 AM.  An embolism would rule out rough play trauma as cause of 
injury.  I assume an MRI will be called for but I don't know how definitive 
that will be.  I don't know what we are looking at for recovery yet and I 
don't know if we will even have much of a definitive answer even next 
week.   We have started B-12 injections on my urging as B-12 is known to 
support the nervous system.  With nuro issues time is usually the only 
"cure" and to what degree we can expect is anyones guess.

So Haus is home and we are making him comfortable and treating him as 
normal as possible.  It's sort of like having a 70 pound infant.  His 
diapers are old bedspreads and puppy whelping pads.  I have to offer him 
water and remove the dish or he spills it.  I have to hold his food 
bowl  or it gets nosed out of reach and he whines about it. :-)  He is very 
much the talker and he does scold you if you walk by and don't ben to 
pet.  He is one very special boy and we will do what ever is fair for him.
