Hi everyone,
Monza and I are back from the rally (car race) in Northern
Minnesota! We had quite the trip & here are some tidbits:
1. Monza Magnet
Monza's new name. GEESH! I certainly didn't
mind some of the guys he attracted. So, that's what it's all
about....Alfie! Why did I wait so long?!
2. Up Periscope
The term for when Monza discovered the open sunroof.
Don't even ask for the details!
3. Baggage Handler
That's me. He had twice as much as mine, not even
including that huge wire kennel.
4. Air Conditioning Vents
What Monza opens his mouth for so he can suck all of
the A/C leaving none for me!
5. Foldable Chair
What Monza thinks is for him. The numerous people
watching us thought it was too hilarious that he took my chair, the one with
padding, every time. Oh no - he's not spoiled.
6. Beacon
What people were calling his flashing, red light on his
collar. He was a beacon for sure! I didn't mind the guys from
Ireland he attracted....at least they knew Monza was Italian and not named after
a Chevy!
7. Perrier
So, it was hot out....and he had his own cooler.....no, no
- really, he's not spoiled.
8. Mosquitoes
The 757's of the North weren't too bad. Monza did
very well and I would've, too, if I'd sprayed myself with that essential oil /
water mix.
9. Tons of People, Cows, Prairie
Chickens, Mallards, Geese, a Lake & a Cattle Ranch
Yep.....that's right! Monza experienced them
all. No wonder I had to run cold water on my hands the first night.
Holding the Wal-Mart greeter at bay with the leather lead was a
treat!
All in all, the little guy was an excellent traveling
companion!
