rescue update & stuff
It's Official! No more Rescue puppies!!! Amen!!! Now don't get me wrong
we enjoyed these puppies as we enjoyed all of yours but we both of us
George and I are way glad to be back to just our own (as is Judy relieved
that these babies are all settled in great homes). I will take some time
in a day or two to update the rescue page and make it public that the
litter has flown the coop! Will also get pix up on pup site that I have
received.
Thank you to all of you for your support and referrals to these
puppies. We hope right now anyway that we have done our part for 2000 in
rescue and while we don't advertise we do rescue and really don't want
anyone really spreading it around we will always help any dog (regardless
of breed).. That goes for Judy too! Which brings this to mind: Judy is
housing a found on the road white German Shepherd. She is older but very
sweet. She needs to find a home where she will be a house dog and not
allowed to escape. Judy has filed found dog reports with the shelters in
her area and no one in over 30 days has come forward to claim this
dog. Judy will not take her to the shelter as we both fear she will be put
down. So once again if anyone knows of anyone *super* responsible that
might want a nice older probably between 8 and 10 year old sound GSD let
Judy know: judy@goldens.com 503-985-0288 Also Judy has a older puppy to
place field bred and getting the word out there is as well is appreciated.
Life is never dull at Brier and with the leaving of the rescues starts
the visits from the grand pup's. Kasey Cooper is the first moon baby to
return to Mission Central for a week end stay. :-) It's absolutely
astonishing how much he looks like TRiX, color, size, coat texture, head
the works except the plumbing... Greg, Lisa and Holly have done a great
job with Kasey, he is a sweet boy weight wise ect, he is doing
good. He however is giving "grandma" Kaycee gray hairs... Every time I
YELL Kasey she cowers! <LOL> We know puppies hear their names a
lot... Almost eleven year old *perfect* dogs don't and the tone oh my
goodness poor old Kaycee Anne!!!!
Stay tuned for pup updates as next week we get Maple and Torrey!!!!
Austa for now,
Gina
