food
Hi All,
Leigh wrote me that:
>>Petopia ran out of Canine Caviar.<<
They also didn't advise him of this and just didn't ship... So for those
of you using CC and Petopia who are as well having problems here is what I
wrote to Leigh: IIene please read the whole thing before you say I forgot
Wellness! <smile>
Well those bums! Here are some other recommendations for food that are
really good. This one as well comes mail order but really at no extra
charge: Flint River Ranch out of California. You can do a web search for
a distributor. When Rocky first got sick I moved him to FFR because it's
manufactured in CA and there is no 4-D meat in it. It's all human grade
and is baked as apposed to extruded. It's something like $42.00 for 40#
and comes in two 20 pound bags which is really nice, you don't have to open
or carry 40# around. You can go on an auto ship with them as well. They
also have a dehydrated veggie meat meal that is a nice addition. My main
reason for switching off FFR was cost. I can not feed 12 dogs at that
price. Plus we went BARF... Also locally you might be able to
find: California Natural, Innova (both made by same manuf. and again all
human no 4-D meat) or Panicle which is newer but I really liked the
ingredients low grain and veggies added in. I tried a small bag with Rocky
but he is so picky right now he is not any kind of a test to
anything. Then there is IIene Cooks favorite food which I have found to be
harder to find here in Oregon which is Wellness which is made by Old Mother
Hubbard. You can find them on line too and possibly ask for a lead on a
distributor.
We are good here!
Gina
