list moderation

Yes I am trying to moderate the list so it doesn't become just another chat 
list a mini G@H....

As well I hold concern for all of you.  Many of you on this list have never 
had a dog before or your experiences else where have been negative and I 
don't want alarming issues coming up that end up flooding my private in box 
with pandemonium either.  Some self preservation
  here too :-)))

I don't want to encourage or discourage any one form writing to the list or 
to me privately but I do want everyone to think before they hit the send 
button.  If you think something is marginal send it to me first.  I am 
happy to act as a moderator....  On many lists the list owner has the 
ability to review all posts before they go to the general list...  Now I 
don't think we need that nor do I want to have that kind of an environment 
but hey use discretion please. :-)

I feel a responsibility to each of you and having this list puts me on the 
"spot" sometimes and I am paying close attention to this list.  Heck I am 
barely reading mail beyond this list out of my respect and sense of 
responsibility to all of you.  Now don't take that the wrong way, I am 
happy to do this and be there for you all. In return, I am getting lots of 
good feed back as well from you guys which is nice.

NO, no blame...  I think everyone knows how to delete the list address from 
the header and insert an individual address or copy paste a message and do 
new message...   I know most on the list have privately contacted me on a 
list topic for clarification of something.
