Boomer is a week behind Gina's group since he's a week and a bit younger so
don't let our dates throw you off if you're counting puppies and weeks
amongst Gina and Judy's litters ok?

SHOT SCHEDULE from my vet, Dr. Anne Hurley, Northern Lights Animal Clinic

8 weeks 6-2-00
DA2P+CPV (Judy gave him his first shots)

11 weeks 6-23-00
DA2P+CPV
Bordetella (I'm passing on this since no dog shows are scheduled for us)

14 weeks 7-14-00
DA2P+CPV

**17 weeks 8-4-00 (recommended for susceptible breeds)
PARVO

**20 weeks 8-25-00 (recommended for susceptible breeds)
PARVO

** at the bottom of the schedule it says the breeds more susceptible to
Parvo are Rottweilers, Dobermans, Retrievers, and Alaskan Sled Dogs.

I am going to track down when they added Retrievers to this list and why
before we do that extra Parvo shot in August.

WORMING SCHEDULE using Strongid - T

6-3-00 first dose (given by Gina prior to the flight North)
6-17-00 second dose -dose by weight
7-1-00 third dose -dose by weight

HEARTWORM STUFF

6-3-00 first Heartguard Plus (given by Gina prior to the flight North)
7-3-00 second Heartguard Plus
8-3-00 third Heartguard Plus

Because Boomer came from outside of Alaska I'll need to give him the
Heartguard Plus and then test at 1 year of age for Heartworms. This was all
new to me since we've no heartworms in Alaska and I've never gotten a pup
shipped up from outside. Very scary stuff for me to think about!

Hope this is helpful Linda. I sent a copy to Lyn earlier and almost did send
it list wide at the same time, lol.
