Trimming toenails
Just a thought, if toe clipping time devolves into a wrestling match.
Both of our girls have done better with us using a dremel tool on their
feet, rather than one of the guillotine type toe clippers. And thanks to
Gina, last time we visited, we found out the cord dremel works faster
than a cordless, which tends to work slower and slower as the charge
drains down.
For those of you not acquainted with a dremel tool....the shaft fits
easily in your hand. You can buy an extension that is the diameter
of a nickel, round and covered with a strip of sandpaper on its edge.
Literally, two swipes of the dremel across your dogs toes and they're
finished. The dremel is very quiet, and other than an occasional
vibration against the nail, our girls don't seem to mind it.
They probably cost around $40 down south. This tool makes toe
nail trimming so easy, that it's easy to stay up with it every week.
Here's a URL to see what a dremel looks like:

Happy toenail trimming :-)
