The ASPCA located in NYC has its "Diaster Relief" pages
up.

I know this to be a worthy organization, and you can be
assured that any 
donations you send will go directly to animal/pet care. You can

and safely.
So give your pets a hug, and please consider a contribution in honor
of the love your feel for your own dogs and pets. (Of course, you know I
mean contribute to whichever charity you wish at this terrible time of
national crisis.)
