Karin,
Did you try the growl thing yet? I have a
great growl/snarl thing that gets Dollar to stop. Ron says I sound like a
big Mama Tiger or something. Hey, whatever works! I bet they would
love playing together in the pool. Dollar tries to get Roscoe going, but
alas he's not too interested yet.
You might have to also try closing her mouth with
your hands and giving her a firm "no", while you give her a stern mad Mama
look. Dollar gives a small whimper like I'm killing her, but I'm not that
big of a sucker! <grin>
Hey Gina, am I getting better? On being alpha
I mean? ;-)

Joan,
Thank you again!! Milka just bit me really hard and I did the
ouch and then had to walk away. I am having her play with some ice in the
evenings and she really enjoys that. It makes me feel better to hear
that it will get better. I know that but reading it from someone who is
just going through it really helps a lot. A friend of mine today
reminded me that we all go through that with puppies but then somehow we
forget it. To be honest, I even told my husband today that I honestly
can't remember the biting/nipping phase with my last two
dogs.
I'm
also alpha mom so at least we're in this together :) Milka is truly a
gem and it sounds like Dollar is the same. Bet they'd love playing in
the pool together :) Karin
Hi Karin,
Dollar bites and nips some people more than
others. :-) With me she does it much less than my husband, Ron
or my son, Greg. I'm "alpha mom!". She's doing much
better than before. Trust me it will get better in time. This is
normal.

Thank you!! Is Dollar still biting/nipping? Just want to
gauge how she's doing on this? Thanks again,
Karin
