Re: Books

Hi Joan-
I plan on clicker training my Casino pup and have been doing some searching.
I joined a list through yahoo called clicker solutions and I asked about
books. This is what was suggested in order
- The Culture Clash - by Jean Donaldson
- On Talking Terms With Dogs: Calming Signals - by Turid Rugaas
(these aren't "clicker" books, but about communicating and understanding our
dogs - which seems to be the basis behind clicker training)
- Click and Go - video by Deb Jones
- Click and Fix - video by Deb Jones
- Don't Shoot the Dog! - by Karen Pryor
- Clicking With Your Dog: Step By Step In Pictures by Peggy Tillman
These are all available at www.dogwise.com
We start our class the week after I get the puppy, which I hope isn't too
soon. I'd love to hear more about what you're doing with your Dollar. If
folks on the list don't want us jamming the waves with clicker stories you
can email me privately at catboat3@home.com.
Peggy
