Re: Ear Infections

Leigh:
Hunter also had an ear infection last summer, our vet said the same thing as
Gina pretty much, but the food did not seem to matter in his case. He
suggested plain yogurt in his evening meal, I have done that since and no
more yeast. He also gets an apple for an afternoon snack. He eats it like
a human would then he leaves the core! Bananas are his favorate, but only
gets them once or twice a week because they seem to make doing his "job"
more difficult. I have started him back on the Canine Caviar because of how
wonderful he looks when he is on it. He really seems to have alot of coat
problems on the Nutro and Eukanuba products. Stacy is delivering it to
Shauns work for free, but I was shocked at how much it has gone up in price
(36.99) wow, still less than Euk. I know that Goldens have alot of problems
with their ears, but I have learned through our new vet and Gina that they
can be controled through diet and less expensive ways than the drops I used
to use for our dog before the two we have now.
Good luck
Carol
