I am no artist, and don't claim to be, but I do doodle from time to
time, and am fairly proficient at 3D geometric modelling. These are
some doodles and drawings which I have done. Feel free to download
these, admire them, plaster them on your walls, but don't blatently
copy them. I didn't slap copyright notices all over the images
because I have a peculiar tendency to trust people. Most of the dates
are either approximate or totally random. And most of them are on
engineering paper because that's usually what I have at my disposal.
Anyways, enjoy!

Dragons |
Most of my art is dragon-related, for fairly obvious reasons. I am
often trying to capture my own image, but usually fail and come up
with something that looks fairly good anyways.
Me (Sep 19, 01) |
 |
After looking over SPark's wonderful drawing
tutorial, I had figured out some of what was making my previous
drawings look weird. Thus, I drew this, and came the closest I have
to how I look. Thrown in is the tail end of my notes on directional
derivatives. |

Spread wings (Oct 27, 01) |
 |
This was a result of a bout of boredom during Calculus III. |
|
Pen-test (Oct 7, 01) |
 |
I think this is the first time I've ever seriously tried to draw
with pen, and at the time, probably the closest I've come to my own
image. The proportions are horrible, however, because I couldn't
erase. Pencil still rules. |

Triad (Oct 1, 01) |
 |
The idea for this had been floating around in my mind for a while,
and then I finally decided to start drawing it one day. It actually
took me three days to do, because I drew each dragon in a day. The
vectorized version of this eventually made it up on this page. |

LightWave Test (Jun 23, 01) |

AI9 Test (Jun 12, 01) |
 |
This was my test of Adobe Illustrator 9.0. To say the least, I now
love that program. The image came out pretty good, too. If you want
infinite zoomability, here is a PDF version
of it. |

Wings (Dec 24, 00) |
 |
This was originally going to be the header to an older lair design
that I was building. The page itself became very bogged down, and the
header image was far too byte-large to be a header image. This was
done in POV-Ray, believe it or
not. |

Crystal Tree (Jun 17, 00) |
 |
I created this for my dad on Father's Day. It was the first time I
had managed to create something that looked like a tree, using a
recursive algorithm in the wonderful POV-Ray. It took a mere 6 hours to
render at 1280x1024 on my 350 MHz. |
|
Sunrise (Jan 01, 00) |
 |
It was New Year's and I was feeling creative, so I made this. The
scene itself is actually pretty simple, but the textures on the water
and sky makes it fairly effective. |
|
Portal (Jul 22, 98) |
 |
This is my POV-Ray masterpiece.
I was originally creating it for a splash screen, but got a bit
carried away. It took a mere 14 hours to render at 1600x1200 under
Linux on my 350 MHz. Unfortunately, most of my other POV work of this
era was lost. |
