[Testbed-admins] Getting user files into Experiments
I've gotten our emulab back on its feet and have people interested in
using it (good deal!), but something puzzles me. I know that, as stated
in the docs:
"Each project has its own directory, rooted at /proj, which is available
via NFS to all of the nodes in experiments running in that project."
This makes sense for the nodes INSIDE emulab, but how are users
generally supposed to get files from OUTSIDE emulab into the /proj and
/users directories to begin with? They can't login directly to boss,
since by default they don't appear to have a human-usable login shell
(/etc/passwd shows /usr/testbed/sbin/paperbag as their login shell.)
Are the users supposed to access these mounts via NFS access directly to
ops?
Am I missing something here?
