Ignore all this: looks like the git emulab-stable snmpit_cisco.pm
contains its own special class for 2960, which seems to take care
of both of these issues.

(I'm not yet running emulab-stable because i'm still trying to get
my base testbed working, in preparation for then upgrading.  But
clearly installing directly from the more recent version would have
saved me some time in this case!)

Anyway, sorry for the spam, though i'll pipe up again if it doesn't
work.  Thanks for all the input.
