Re: [Testbed-admins] Cookies & Emulab

The problem doesn't have to do with the fact that I am Logged onto two emulabs. I logged onto utah emulab to see if it was a browser issue, and it is not.

It is also not an issue with our Server because i made a small script test.php3 to set a cookie and that works.

In this midst of checking the defs file for anything that may be causing this.

Thanks all

Ouch! If this is really necessary, we ought to fix it! :) Does anyone
else have this problem? I suppose it's possible that this occurs for you
because you're in a subdomain of emulab.net .

Well i have seen such a situation if you use the same browser session to
access Utah's emulab and you local emulab site. The clean way i used was
to to use two different browsers for accessing each emulab site..

Do you have OURDOMAIN, WWWHOST, etc. set correctly in your defs file? If
those do not match the URL you're actually using to access the
webserver, the web interface could be trying to create a cookie in the
wrong domain.

we are trying to set up a version of Emulab over here in Victoria. We are
running into a strange problem with cookies and headers.

It seems asthough our server is not setting any cookies to the browser. This
isn't a browser problem, as we can get cookies from the Utah version of
emulab.
Just wondering if you may have seen this problem before, or if you have any
ideas as to why it might be happening.

thanks!
