Thanks for the tip, but unfortunately it didn't resolve the problem. I didn't
make the cable myself; we had the appropriate type kicking around in the
laboratory.

ordinary user account.

make the console cable yourself? How do you make the pinout of the console
cable? Mine has some encoding display problem.
