RE: Yanna is in the hospital

Oh gosh, this is such a very late reply (I'm still going through the e-mails that Rick "sequestered" for me while I was in the hospital).  Slowly but surely... and I’m trying my very best to respond to everyone individually, but I’m not sure how well I’m doing in that regard!

I got a wonderful card & a couple of photos from Bill & Gin in Astoria... with their babies BEAR & EMMA ROSE.  Both photos are on my fridge & yes, I have several photos of BEAR from when Rick & I rescued him here in Arizona and took him on his journey to the airport to wing his way to Oregon... these photos will actually be on their way to Bill & Gin next week (I promise)!

Also, I got a fabulous card from Tina & family in Washington!  I have this magnificent photo of Twister & Rhia – and it too is also gracing the front of my fridge!  Too adorable!  And in my many blonde moments, I completely forgot that Tina also works for the same company as me (Washington Mutual Bank).  Go figure!  And, Tina sent me a fantastic gift certificate for Borders – for some good reading material.

You guys are all the BEST!  And of course, talking to Gina and having her be such a magnificent cheerleader!  My only concern is that with all of this “brain surgery” and lovely stuff I’ve had… I have already used up my sick leave & will likely deplete my vacation time as well.

You know why that BUGS me the most?  Rick & I had planned a 9 day trip up to Oregon the beginning part of July… perfect timing with 2 litters of 6 to 7 week old pups on the ground!  Can you think of a better or more perfect way to end a vacation???  One of our good friends here in AZ is likely getting one of the pups and Rick and I had planned to fly her back here to AZ onboard in a [Sherpa bag] – to transport pupster to her new Mommy!  Can you think of a more perfect and wonderful way to travel back home from vacation????  Not me!

So, our fingers & toes and also our 16 sets of paws all have them crossed & hoping that things will work out!

OK, so thanks for letting me “ramble”… time to sign off now.  I just wanted to let everyone know how very much your thoughts, prayers & support mean to me!  (so much more than I can even begin to explain in an e-mail).

Love & Golden Hugs,

Yanna in Arizona (along with my love, Rick)…

And our wonderful golden kids:

Hi Everyone,

Yanna has had to have emergency brain surgery for a cyst on her brain.  She

is in a lot of pain but is recovering well - I will let Rick tell more

about what is going on.  But I wanted to pass on their snail mail address

as Yanna has a real thing for cards!  She absolutely loves cards.  She also

really loves Goldens - has a real soft spot in her heart for Brier Goldens

too :-) so I was thinking it would be neat if we could each send her a card

and enclose a picture of your dog - with maybe a little story

enclosed.  Dog's name, who it's parents are ect...

Address:
