Re: Punch, with a heavy heart

Gina and George,

Obviously, words can't express our feelings regarding the news of Punch. We will remember her very fondly. She always seemed so playful and happy, nothing got her down. We are so sorry.  She was Charlie's favorite, and will be sorely missed.  Massive hugs, sorry they are not in person.

 Hi Everyone -

It is with a very heavy heart I need to tell you that we lost Punch yesterday January 9 th 2004.  She put up a good fight true to her name, but she could not rally from the intestinal surgery for the removal of tennis ball pieces.  George and I feel guilt beyond belief for allowing her to not be monitored close enough with this particular tennis ball and if we could we would take it back,,, we surely would....  Please be careful with your dogs with toys; We all know the ones who can't have toys...  If anyone knows how hard it is to deprive them of toys it's us - but it's just not worth it...

That said we want to celebrate Punch with a loving memory...  She was an incredible dog - she beat the odds over the years and she truly was Golden with every fiber of her being.  At age 7 she lost her eye to a tumor behind it that was cancer.  In 2003 an unknown infection suspect of the first tumor going narcotic, we surely thought we were going to loose her to cancer then.  But she beat that one too.  True to her name Topbrass Pax A Pwrhse Punch she has knocked out our hearts and will live forever in the memories of so many she also has knocked out....

Thank you Judy for allowing George and I to be with Punch in her Golden years - we know you miss her too....

Hug'em,
