RE: Chelsea is 6 Better late than Never?
Howdy to all.
Yep we are the crazy family in Gina's #1 statement.
Brandy is going to be joining us in a few months. Now Gina <evil Grin>
Tina does not take all things literally. She did not offer to take the
Brittany. Although he is beautiful. I have had close relations with
Brittany's before. We are not a Brittany Household. But we are
thrilled to offer Brandy <squared> to our household. We lost our Brandy
Golden wanna be December of 2001. So life has come full circle for us
since we were lucky enough to meet Gina. Gee Tina & Tony meet Gina &
George almost sounds like a children's adventure book. Some days it its
truly an adventure around here. Rhia is working on perfecting her
carpentry skills and Twister just watches her and shakes her head.
So to all - enjoy your Golden Lives.
Tina, Tony, Twister, Rhia & soon to be Brandy

Hi Everyone -
Better late than never I hope! Yanna I did read your post closer than
the
21st of June but it's just been sort of looney around here - HAPPY
BELATED
BIRTHDAY TO BOTH OF YOUR FUZZ BUTTS! And I actually still have that
shirt
too!
Thanks for tooting your Gina horn while it always makes me blush I also
use
these praises as a benchmark and reminder to try my best to keep my
standards high. So I take them as mentorship - thank you Yanna.
Now a few notes from here:
1. Tina, Tony, Twister, Rhea are about to become an even larger
family! Yup another blond is soonly going to join the crazy going on's
at
the Peplowski dog house! Judy had a puppy returned recently that is
going
to require surgery for HD. I was just talking with Tina about Brandy
and
well that darn Tina just does not know how to just be a sounding board
(like a lot of you very golden hearted people). So once Brandy is all
fixed up she will be joining Twister and Rhea to help keep Tina & Tony
extra busy - though Rhea has been doing a real good job of that as of
late! Rhea has taken to doing some deck corner rounding... Anyway -
Brandy is going to require bilateral surgery so Judy and I are going to
team up rehabing Brandy in between both of our's late summer / fall
litters
coming.... Stay tuned as I will get a page up for Brandy hopefully
soon. Brandy is strongly related to several of your dogs: She is a 1/2
sister via Rolex to anyone who has a puppy out of TRiX as well as anyone
who has a sibling to TRiX as TRiX and Goblin (brandy's mom) are 1/2
sisters
via Triple their sire - so she is also strongly related to the Moon
litter
as well!
2. Don't ever do this: <evil grin> tun the other way - don't look back
-
let some other sap sucker rescue one of these!

Oh my wanna talk BUSY? Copper defines the word with a whole new
twist! Two weeks ago at the hunt test where DiTTo picked up her second
JH
leg this little guy was found wandering the grounds no owner was not
found
and still no one has come forward. My thoughts are that Copper (we
named
him that) was dumped ;-( But there is a happy ending to this one too!
Via
placing him on the web and getting the word out a GREAT home has come up
for Copper in eastern Oregon a hunting home with 40+ acres to run and
roam. Monday Copper will be neutered we think he's about 6 to 8 months
of
age and hopefully the following weekend his new family will be driving
over
from Burns to take him home! I could not be happier with the home we
found
for Copper - this breed is way to busy for me and even DiTTo who we
dubbed
Rocky in Blond can't even keep up with him! So I won't be sorry to see
him
go but it does at least warm our hearts to say that we can now look to a
quieter life around here soon! :-)
3. Puppies!!!! Well we don't know yet but we have bred Lucy and Dinah
last
week. Here is a page that shows pictures of the sires:
http://www.briergoldens.com/stud_dogs.htm and info on the litters. We
have a few people on the waiting list but if anyone knows anyone looking
for a puppy we should have some room on the list.
4. Blueberries: bushes are fairly full though I think we are going to
have
a later crop this year with the weather being so mild anyone who wants
to
come pick as usual after the 4th of July the bushes are ready to be
picked! It would be great to have you guys come out visit and go home
with
full buckets!!!! Just remember they only last about 3 weeks on the bush
and the dogs get first choice. :-)
Well that's about it from here minus it's nice to have a weekend off
from
dog shows and or hunt tests!
