Momma,Grandma, great grandma, great great grand Kaycee

HI All,

Well when you get to be 13 and you are a Golden Retriever life sometimes gets to be complicated. Some times it's hard to know which way is north and which way is south... Poor Kaycee is having a bit of trouble with that right now. Woke up this morning and she just was looking funny, walking funny, stumbling about and she also was holding her one ear sort of down. No not an ear infection.. So off to the vet we went, the vet was having a hard time seeing what I was talking about but that's because Kaycee loves to go to the vet ( very sick dog in that regard) But after MS. Congeniality calmed down Deb could see what I was talking about and gave it this name: Vestibular Disease

Here is a link about it. I have read a few today and think this one is probably the best one, easy to read and non alarming: http://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?P=A&C=189&A=564&S=1

So anyway not to worry, I don't think we have a real problem here but since she is 13 and besides me needing to start getting my self prepared, I figured it can not hurt to also alert all of you and educate you as well, as some day your all likely to be in this place with age anyway...
