Eye Clinic results

HI,

The annual eye clinic at Brier went well.  We ran through a total of 53 
dogs.  Of those 53 dogs 14 were Brier dogs, 12 of that 14 were ours and the 
other two were extended family.  I am hoping and will be campaigning, that 
next year more of you will be able to come.  The One litter and Casino 
litter really need to get eye exams because of the cataracts that were 
discovered with Abbey last year.  We entered these litters into the 
cataract study in an effort to help the breed and if these dogs are going 
untested all of what we have done so far is a waste.  So please think about 
that and perhaps next spring we can get another clinic together that will 
be a better time for some of you.

Kaycee at nearly 13 just a couple of weeks till she hits 13 is still clear, 
in fact everyone here was clear.  Because Gidget and SeaJay have both 
maintained their eye health/clearances to age 4 is a very good sign as 
well.  One or both may be a carrier but until we look at more of their 
progeny it's anyones guess at to what might be lurking back there. ?
