Gina- if you don't agree with using the alcohol for ears you can omit
it. It just works for us and a lot of other people I know.

I do not disagree with using alcohol in the ears to prevent swimmers ear
and or infections. My only addition would be to use it before and
after. As some one who suffers from swimmers ear my ENT doc has always had
me put a few drops of alcohol in my ears prior to swimming and to dry them
out with same after swimming. Drying out the ear flaps well too as you
noted on a dog as well as behind the ears!
