Gina, I still cannot get to these pages. Where they the result of a search?

Lbs

Yes this is weird, some times the links work other times no. If you go to this site: http://thomas.loc.gov/ and type in puppy in the search box the links will come up.

What I need to add to you all is that the sites do not talk about small breeders they sound as though they only talk about puppy mills and cooperations. I assure you that ALL breeders will fall under these bills and the hobby breeder will not be exempt. I have previously posted on Brier Pup's stuff about the DDLA and going to the AKC web site about dog legislation matters which explained that hobby breeders will be affected by this 100%.

In the PPA one of the things that will affect breeders such as myself are these:

1. I will no longer be allowed to keep my dogs as house dogs. All quarters where dogs are kept must have two floor drains. Sorry folks not putting in floor drains in my house... This would include my living room and my puppy room as well as my bedroom.

The main problem with these bills is they do not take into account normal day to day situations in house dogs lives. In short these bills need to be rewritten and corporations like Hunt Corp. need to be targeted, Hunt is the largest puppy mill in the US. This bill is inclusive and will make me fall under the USDA and if that happens Brier Goldens will no longer move forward. Simple.
