Hi Gina. Thanks for the response. I agree that de barking is the wrong
approach.

Did I mention they are mid 70s, and retired New Yorkers living in Florida?
All that means is that Mom made a single attempt with a trainer, and gave
up. Gabby is destined to be one of those dogs that is totally untrained and
unruly. I don't like that anymore than you do, but alas, not much to do
about it.

Innotek and Petsafe both make micro versions. The Innotek BC-200 is 2
ounces with the battery. The Petsafe one is a little less. Two ounces does
not seem like much to me, but I don't know anything about it. Both
companies market these micro versions as suitable for 8 pound dogs. Gabby
is only 6.5 pounds, but Renee and I can work on fattening her up while we
are there! Just kidding.
