It was 10:30 on Friday night.  We'd just returned from a dinner
with long-time friends.  The girls had been left home because it's
too cold outside to leave them in the car more than 30 minutes.

I had the bows made up already.  The camera was found.  They'd
both had their baths earlier in the day.  There was even a little
snow/frost of the ground.  And it was the 23rd of December.  We'd
been waiting all week to have this all come together when they
would be somewhat groomed and clean, and it looked like winter
outside.

We bring the girls outside.  Iris runs in circles around us chortling
and crying.  Angel is rolling on the ground and making as many
snow angels as she can in the slight white ground covering.  How
did we think we were ever going to get a photo when they were
amped after a rare evening by themselves inside ;-)

I try to round one up and have them sit in place.  As soon as
I turn to the other girl, the first one starts with the antics again.
Here it is 10:30 at night.  I'm chasing the girls around the driveway
and loudly whispering (our neighbor's bedroom is right off our
driveway) sit, stay, and SMILE, as I finally plunk them both
into a sit-stay, eyeball to eyeball.

First photo was them in polar fleece hats and mittens draped over
their shoulders.  Potential for really cute <g>  Except they wanted
to wrestle and tear each others' hats off and, of course, the mittens
went sailing in the air.  Gave up on that :-(   Especially after we
saw their pouting mugs when we made them sit still and pose <vbg>

Angel still wasn't happy with us when we took the photo with bows,
but I think she realized by that point that we weren't going to give up
so she sat still for just a moment and gave us her "I'm above all this"
look <vbg>
