On this topic:
I am getting more and more concerned for the canine as a whole,,, species.
With my new found knowledge base on immune related as well as orto
problems, I don't think I could ever go back to feeding kibble.
I do think that some problems are heritable but also I strongly (even
stronger after being on Dog Read this month) feel that diet is the root to
many of the ills and the canine as a whole species is in poor condition,
approaching critical. At this point in time I don't have the means to
convey to each of you the overwhelming evidence but to say, please consider
making changes in your feeding programs for your dogs. At least do the
research...
For some getting past the bone scare and or bacteria issues of cross
contamination is a major issue. All I can offer there is we have yet to
have a problem with either of these topics. The dogs have been well and we
have not gotten sick... Come to think of it barring the bizarre I have yet
to hear a report of a dog or human for that matter having serious enough
problems with the diet to scare me off. But of course I am not out there
looking for a reason to not feed a biologically correct diet either...
