Sleeping habits of the Sidecar crew: Boomer, who is a Rolex son and as decidedly handsome as his dad in my not so humble agreement with Judy, has just begun, at 7 months, to sleep on his back spread to the world. (what a run-on sentence THAT was, lol) He is normally more often (98% of the time) found in a complete 'frog dog' position with back legs flat and straight behind him and front legs flat and straight before him with his head resting on his front legs. In a very deep sleep he would rather be on his side under my chair and resting on my coat which trails to the floor. Rosie sleeps on her side when loose and curled like a husky when crated. Sophie is much like Linda's Princess Iris... never on her back unless she's being adored and whispered at. At one time, prior to her HD diagnosis, she very much slept and rested in the 'frog dog' position. Boomer also refuses to curl up in his crate for longer than a couple of hours. At that point he insists that you wake up, open the crate door, and then he makes a huge procedure of stretching fully out with his head hanging over the lip and stays there all night. Put him in a 500 crate and he does the same thing. Likely way more info than you wanted, lol. I'm babbling this morning.
