Mushrooms...

Thanks for the tips on the laundry detergent.  Recently I've gone to
liquid.  Is it imperative to use the dry?  I realize it would sprinkle
better.  I was just wondering about pouring some of the liquid directly
on the spots where I've hacked out the mushrooms - (at least until I get
some powdered detergent).  What do you think?
