2000. My birthday! my mother-in-law sent me a beautiful check ($500) to
buy myself something!!
I was all happy, so I put the check in my purse to go
shopping next morning.
What a surprise! when I didn't find the money in my
purse :) I was looking all over trying to figure out
what happened to the check!
For some reason I went outside to our porch, and I
thought recognice in a tiny piece of paper my mother's
hand writing, and that was the clue to my lost
"CHECK"; Diablo, browsing in my
things found this pretty
card.
And he wants to know what $500 taste like! There was
nothing left to save. So I called Dorothy (my mother in
law),
while I was crying, and she was giggling saying she
would send me another replacement of the check!!
And that's Diablo's story for today!
